Car Sleep
Five hours in a car + fibromyalgia = ouch (especially because I kept falling asleep in the most uncomfortable positions ever. I mean really, how could I possibly have fallen asleep with half my face pressed against the window and my hip smushed against a seat belt buckle?! Oh but I did.)
Anyway, happy to be home again and looking forward to sleeping in my own very soft bed!! One of the things that makes my bed sooo lovely is that I have a Geo-Incline Mattress Topper that sits on top of my mattress. It makes my bed so delightfully soft and comfortable. In my experience, making my bed as gentle and cozy as possible helps when I am not feeling well (like after driving five hours from Ottawa!)
I bought one for my bed when I went away to university, and then got one for my bed at home, because I was so uncomfortable without it!
If you’re not interested in investing a mattress pad of some sort, then maybe try finding some extra pillows or soft sheets so you have a nice place to curl up in on those crappy days.
Ok, time to go sleep in a bed that is not a car! ZzzzzzzZzzzzzzZzzzzz

Thanks for being uncomfortable in the car so you could come visit me!
