A Not So Great Day
As I predicted in the early hours of the morning, today is not a great day for me. My fibromyalgia is acting up, and I can really feel that I am fighting a cold.
I think the reason this day has hit probably has to do with the the chaos and excitement of getting ready for/ getting back to school. In all the excitement, I don’t think I’ve totally been listening to my body. A number of other smaller factors probably contributed: I kind of accidentally abandoned my carefully planned wind-down before bed routine, I went to bed late and upset, for the past few nights instead of taking my regular pain meds, I’ve been taking tylenol to try and combat this sickness (Extra strength tylenol is probably about 80% weaker than my pain meds, which explains why I’m so stiff, tense and sore), I also ate a bunch of chips last night – I have no idea if that would have made a difference. Also, I woke up and realized it had been raining all night, and we all know how the weather affects me.
Luckily this hit me today and not tomorrow (first day of classes). In hopes of making tomorrow a better day, today will be me, dvd’s, a stack of books, tea and sweatpants.
