Don’t Read Office Magazines!
Went to the doctor today and talked some things through. I’m going in for an ultrasound next week (can you believe how soon that is?!? When she said she was booking one for me I thought to myself “So begins another nine month wait” but apparently not!) and will be talking to a gynecologist at some point in the near future. The goal with these two things is to try and determine if I have endometriosis or if there is something else wrong.
I’m really curious to see if anything shows up on an ultrasound. Knowing my track record, I’m not holding my breathe, but even still, I’m curious to see what happens. I’ve never had an ultrasound, so I don’t know what to expect. (Also, in case you’re thinking it, the answer is: no, I am not pregnant. There are other reasons for an ultrasound).
In other health news, the change of the seasons continues to drive me crazy. Mainly because of the increased pain I experience. I do, however, appreciate how beautiful the days have been lately. At the moment, the beauty does not make up for the flaring fibromyalgia…
Last note: While waiting at the doctor’s office today, I cringed multiple times as people coughed into their hands and then picked up office magazines to read! Later, someone else would pick up the same magazine and the same germs! I’m not a germaphobe, but I draw the line at magazines in doctor’s offices – it’s just never a good idea… ew :s
